Adam Kuhfal
Part Time Sports

Adam is originally from Wheaton graduating from Onaga High School in 2005.  He is currently attending K-State with plans to graduate in the spring of 2009. He serves as a board operator and overnight news anchor at KMAN and occasionally you can hear him anchoring sports during “KMAN This Morning.”

Education - Was a 2005 graduate of Onaga High School, am now attending K-State and plan to graduate in the spring of 2009.

Why I went into radio - I did PA for all of my high school sporting events that I didn’t participate in and enjoyed doing that, plus I am an avid sports fan so sports radio is what I thought would be fun.

Activities/Events - I am a Kappa Sigma at K-State, I play in numerous softball tournaments during the summer, I play football, basketball, softball, and am one heck of a ping-pong player in intermural sports at K-State
Family - My mother’s name is Roberta and my father’s name is Gerry.  They live one mile south of Wheaton (about ½ an hour from Manhattan).  My brother Michael is 4 years older than me.  He and his wife Holly have a beautiful baby daughter named Jacklynn and live in Riverton, KS.

Hobbies - I LOVE to play baseball and softball and do so whenever the opportunity arises.  I also enjoy playing basketball and whipping anyone who thinks they can beat me in ping-pong.  I like hanging out with my friends here at K-State and enjoy hanging out with all of my old classmates from back home.

Work History - I have umpired for the Onaga Summer Baseball/Softball Association since the summer after my freshman year of high school.  I have announced numerous events, mostly sporting, at Onaga High School as well as events around the community.  One was the Miss Pottowatomie Pageant which I started doing in the summer of 2006.  I also work for the Kansas Department of Transportation out of Blaine during the summer.
