It’s official now, the Jimmy Bond recall vote has passed. Tuesday’s election results were preliminary, and events this morning solidified the result once and for all. This morning the Board of County Canvassers reviewed all the votes, adding a few to each column, and the final result comes to 202 to 89 in favor of Bond’s removal from office. The next step according to County Clerk Rich Vargo is Bond’s removal from office which, Vargo says, comes one day after today’s certification of the vote.
