Revenue enchancement discussion by USD 383 patrons and officials
in Local by Cathy Dawes 0

Lots of brainstorming was going on Thursday night at an informal session of a group of interested USD 383 patrons and former budget advisory committee members. Associate Superintendent Bob Seymour says the group talked about revenue possibilities for the district, including expanding the local option budget. But there were several other ideas examined, including a telethon much like Kansas State conducts, according to Seymour. Seymour says while the budget advisory committee was finished a week ago, the group decided to hold a very informal session Thursday night, with members of the audience who have been following developments closely.Seymour will now take all of the ideas and share those with the school board.
