The 1st Sustainment Brigade will case the brigade colors in a deployment ceremony this coming Monday at 1 p.m. at King Field House on Main Post. During the ceremony, family and friends will bid farewell to the Soldiers of the Durable Brigade as they prepare to deploy to Iraq and Kuwait. The 1st Sustainment Brigade will be the lead brigade in Kuwait with the mission of helping to draw down coalition forces in Iraq. The 1st Sustainment Brigade Commander Col. Donnie Walker, Jr. and Command Sgt. Major Miguel Rivera will direct operations for the mission. Following the ceremony, visitors are invited to attend an open-house at the 1st Sustainment Brigade Headquarters, Building 8614.
