Ogden Recall results
in Local by Joe Pieper 0

The voters of Ogden got their chance Tuesday to speak out, and they certainly did. The item on the block was the removal of Ogden mayor Jimmy Bond, which passed 194 to 86. Bond, who had been a subject of controversy for several months, compared his feelings after hearing the result to Abraham Lincoln’s after Lincoln lost his Senate bid. Bond also stated that he hopes that some things he hoped to bring to fruition can continue to come about. The voter turnout for the issue was just above 30 percent.
