Three finalists will be interviewed for the position of Kansas State university’s new vice president for communications and marketing. This is a new position at K-State and the vice president will oversee the creation of an integrated communications and marketing strategy and provide leadership for the following units: media relations, university publications, educational communications center, printing services and two proposed units- a web design team and a marketing research team. Finalists are Jackie Hartman, associate professor of management at Colorado State University, Jeffery B. Morris, chief communications officer, university of Central Missouri, and Jeanette DeDiemar, executive director of integrated marketing and communications at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Each finalist will visit K-State for a day of interviewing that will include an open forum from 10-11 in the K-State alumni center. Hartman will be in town Dec 14-15, Morris will be in Manhattan the 15-16, and DeDiemar will make a stop in the little apple the 17-18.
