A one vehicle accident this morning called in at around 9:35 resulted in 3 people being transported for various injuries. According to the Kansas Highway patrol a 1996 GMC Jimmy driven by 55-year old Giles Krupke of Wichita veered out of control and entered the south ditch of K18 at mile post 182.4, or a half mile east of Ogden and rolled twice. Krupke was airlifted to Stormont Vale in Topeka. 55 year old Brenda King and 52 year old Katherine Walbourn both of Wichita were transported by EMS to Mercy Regional health center but Director of Riley County EMS Larry Couchman adds that one of those individuals will probably be air lifted to Topeka as well. Mercy Regional reports Walbourn was being treated in the emergency room early this (Friday) afternoon–there was no report regarding King at Mercy.
