H1N1 update
in Local by Scott Miller 0

The Riley County/Manhattan Health Department is combining with the National Guard Armory and volunteers to hold a clinic for flu vaccinations from 9 am to 4 pm this Friday and Saturday located at the national guard armory at 721 Levee drive. Officials will have a limited supply of seasonal flu vaccine along with a more plentiful supply of H1N1 vaccine. The vaccine will be offered to the general public and parents bringing their children in for a second dose of H1N1 should make sure that a dose is due by either consulting a physician or checking the information at www.rileycountyks.gov. Another clinic is being held for MHS west students on December 7th. The clinic will begin at 7:45 and students will be called from class. There is no charge for the vaccine but students must have a parent or guardian fill out the student consent form and acknowledgment of receipt of notice of privacy practices form. Forms can be picked up at the MHS west front office or downloaded from the USD 383 website.
