A Manhattan man has been sentenced to nearly three years with the KDOC on sexual exploitation of a child and promoting obscenity charges. 27-year-old Nathaniel Greene was sentenced Monday in Riley County district court to 32 months, with credit for the time he has been incarcerated since July of 2008. Greene entered pleas to two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of promoting obscenity in April of this year. At the time of Greene’s arrest, Riley County police indicated officers found a flash drive and notebook computer with images of children under the age of 18, engaging in sexual acts. He was arrested July 24th of 2008.
In other Riley County court news, Melvin Tolliver of 410 Bluemont was sentenced to consecutive terms of 18 months and 12 months with the KDOC, but granted 24 months probation for two counts of residential burglary. Toliver was arrested in June after an incident in south central Manhattan, in which a woman in her early 20’s was asleep and awakened by a stranger in her bed. Toliver was also ordered to register as an offender for the term of his probation.
