H1N1 clinic and fire station occupy Pottawatomie county officials

More people continue to become elgible for the H1N1 vaccine as priority groups expand, but government officials continue to prepare for the worst. Pottawatomie County Health Director Leslie Campbell the Pottawatomie County Health Department is offering an H1N1 vaccine clinic this week on Wednesday from 9-11. Police officers that first respond and teachers have now become eligible for the vaccine. Also Monday it was announced a concrete slab has been laid for a new building that is to be used by Fire District 10. Now funding is needed for the interior of the project. Pottawatomie County Fire Supervisor Bruce Brazzle requested funding from county commissioners at Monday’s meeting. Brazzle explained there shouldn’t be any future financial implications as a result. Brazzle’s request was approved and now Administration Offices are able to seek bids from local banks.
