Yellow Dot Program seeks to make roads a little safer
in Local by Joe Pieper 0

Road safety is very important, especially with winter approaching. However, road problems aren’t always crashes. At times a medical condition can affect a driver, sometimes seriously. The Yellow Dot Program, promoted by the Manhattan Lions Club, helps to assure a fast response. Participants stick a yellow dot on their back windshield and an envelope in their glovebox, which alerts medical personnel to be more alert to medical conditions. According to Lions Club Yellow Dot Chair Kay Carruthers, there are plenty of kits to go around to anyone interested.
