The Pottawatomie County commission canvassed the vote from last Tuesday’s election, deciding whether or not to certify a vote to renovate and expand Central Elementary School in Wamego. County Commissioner Corwin Seamans explains why the commission had to take a long look at this, saying some votes are provisional. The commission reviewed the votes, and confirmed the measure with 927 in favor, and 328 opposed. The original voting count was 922 in favor and 327 in opposition.
