A 34-year-old Manhattan man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison on convictions of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated battery, and aggravated intimidation of a victim. Francis Geiger of 4440 Tuttle Creek Boulevard, Lot Four, was sentenced Monday morning in Riley County District Court to 180 months. Geiger’s Riley County sentence is to serve consecutively to a Geary County case. Geiger entered a plea of no contest to the charges earlier this month. He was arrested in May in connection with the reported rape of a 35-year-old woman in northeast Manhattan. An Ogden woman faces more than a year in prison on burglary and theft charges , following a sentencing Monday morning in Riley County district court. 27-year-old Morgan Sutton was sentenced to 16 months on burglary and felony theft convictions. Riley County police reported at the time of Sutton’s arrest, the burglary occurred in Ogden in March of this year and the theft involved theft of services using false information and a false check. Also In Riley County District Court Monday, a Manhattan man was sentenced to 18 months probation for counts of aiding a felon, theft, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 23-year-old Daniel Willoughby of 948 Mission entered a plea of no contest to the charges last month.
