Riley County police made two arrests last (Monday) night in connection with an aggravated robbery reported in Ogden. 19 year old Roger Hammond Jr. of Junction City and 20 year old Marcello Dodd-Holliday of Ogden were taken into custody following the incident, in which 51 year old Bejo Elburki of Manhattan was reportedly hit on the side of the head with a bat. Elburki suffered a laceration but did not require hospital treatment. He was reportedly working on a vehicle in the 400 block of Ninth Street in Ogden when the incident occurred. Dodd-Holiday and Hammond Jr. faces numerous charges, including aggravated robbery, criminal possession of a firearm, aggravated battery, conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of stolen property, criminal use of a weapon, and no drug stamp. They are being held in lieu of 75,000 bond.
