Torry Peterson, from Westmoreland, is 2009’s Miss Pottawatomie County. That’s because she won the annual pageant, which is held during the Pottawatomie County Fair. Laura Nickel, a coordinator for the pageant as well as a past winner, says Peterson was among a good group of contestants. Peterson adds that the girls were from all around the county.
