Full-Time position reports to:
General Manager

Duties include, but not limited to:

• General oversight of the radio station
• Program overall schedule and sound of the radio station 
• Supervise the music selection and scheduling with Music Director
• Schedule/manage air talent
• Production shift
• Conduct Aircheck meetings with staff
• Work with Promotions Manager and Sales Manager to brainstorm, create, and implement unique Promotional ideas
• Appear at station events/live broadcasts
• Maintain a positive relationship with record label representatives, clients, and community leaders
• Schedule community service events/projects for the radio station
• Fill in on-air shifts when needed
• Maintain up-to-date severe weather coverage
• Understand the need for “localism” in the Manhattan market

                     
Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficient with SawPro, RCS Selector, Scott Studios 32
• Prefer 1-2 years of on-air experience
• Experience with broadcast equipment
• Ability to manage small staff
• Strong work ethic
• Self-motivated
